Lou Amundson signs with Warriors.

So Louis Amundson finally got a contract with the Golden State Warriors. It surprised me how long it took for him to get one. I think its a really good pick up for the Warriors. Maybe not a game changer in terms of points or rebounds, but the guy has an incredible motor. I think he'll fit in really nicely with the Warriors, because the pace of the game is very similar. I think he'll get more minutes as well, because of the lack of bigs on their squad. Good for the Warriors, and good for Louis. He's one of those guys that you love to have on your team, but hate to play against him, sorta like a mini Joakim Noah (Note that I'm not saying hey are equal in talent, just that they play similarly). He'll get plenty of opportunities to show his energy and hustle with the lightning fast Warriors. He'll also help somewhat with opposing bigs because of the way he moves around constantly going after loose balls, and can fluster them a little bit. He just never stops going. We'll see if his energy keeps up with the increased minutes I think he'll get, but I suspect he will.

A new NBA blog

I just wanted to start up a little blog for the many basketball related goings-ons and signings. For now, this isn't going to be updated daily with news from around the NBA, and I won't be scouring the web for news, leaks, rumors, etc. I just want to share my opinion, and maybe have some discussions with other people about stuff in the NBA.
